DIARY: Today I researched at the impact of colour in our short film 'Wine's tale'. The two main themes in the film are crows and wine. Although it may be easy to say wine is red and crows are black, I want to further develop with research and use colour to our advantage. From my research, I found that wines hue gives clues to its age. As our story is about the process of making wine, it would be interesting to show how time has passed, especially through each different scene that is being animated by a person. Furthermore, the intensity of colour tells us about the climate of the wine, which would be great for setting an atmosphere and visually telling where the environment is.
