My Survey results

The third of October, I uploaded a survey on to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter asking age ranges, sex, and viewing behaviour as a consumer.

Today, the 14th of October I am now analysing found results. From my results I found that I managed to get 40 participants to answer my survey.

HERE ARE MY RESULTS:

my notes:
From my results I can see that the majority of answers are by young adults, between the age of 18-34; both equally males and females.

As a multiple-choice question, I found that most people (but not all) use Tv devices to watch programming, with 47% either or also using mobile devices, and computers and games being the third most popular way to watch tv, at 40%.

Surprisingly, I found that most people who answered, used streaming services more, rather than On-demand and broadcasted content. Broadcast and social media only had 16 picks each out of the 40% people who had multiple choices.

Everyone who I surveyed had heard of Netflix, and out of those only two people had never used it, and with one person using a different streaming site instead.

35 out of 40 people I asked are current users of Netflix.

When asking about broadcasted Tv, only one person only used this as their only source of tv, with 17 people using both broadcasted tv and streaming sites, and  20 either rarely using it, or didn't have it at all.

When asking about youtube, 15 people either rarely used it or never used it, with 25 people regularly using it, 15 of those daily and 10 weekly.

When I asked about watching programs on facebook, it turned out that 77.5% rarely, if not never watched programs on FB. Only 2 people out of 40 watched daily.

Lastly, I asked about people viewing behaviour; only 1 person out of 40 watched while travelling/being out and about, 32 people multi-tasking while watching (distracted watching), and 7 people watching traditionally, with no distractions.
