How did I get to this look? 

 
(3) I really liked the texture on this book, the look of water colour and loose ink. I further added texture to the moon and boat, and added some thick sketchy black inky lines.

I then took inspirations of the way they have created atmosphere with the lights and reflections from this book.

Tuesday, I went into the Forum library, and hunted out illustrated book covers for inspiration for developing my design. I wanted to find books that showed ways of representing night time, the sea and anxiety in a enchanting, story-world way. I also wanted inspiration in forms of style, colour and composition. Here is the selection of books I took photos of; a few of them I took little parts of to help develop my current style frame.
